Humidity electrodes not working, what should I do?

Check whether probe can work: 1.Place probe into water under humidity mode; 2. Set current time and first watering time(1 min later is advised); 3. Wait for 1 min, device starts working, check if there is "WET" on screen. If not, probe is faulty.
What should I do if some plants need more water while some need less water, while they are watered at the same time
